‘Vintage’ Mirror | My Sweet Savannah
In Adelaide you need to get up pretty early to get the good stuff at the op shops. All the cool 50’s frocks, the Danish-esque side tables and pretty floral teacups are gone in a flash. But of course, there’s one thing there is plenty of - ugly paintings. But you know what they say - you should never judge a painting by it’s picture. No, that’s not what they say, but you need to keep that in mind, because some of the best frames have the ugliest pictures! And the best part about this DIY is that the only thing you need to spend money on (other than your frame) is some ‘Looking Glass’ spray. The tarnished effect is created with a vinegar mix - so clever!
